- Hot Tar Shrimp Fajitas
- Ingredients
- Flour tortillas
- Grated cheese
- Chopped lettuce
- Tomatoes seeded and chopped
- Onion
- Mild green chilies OR red and green bell pepper
- Hot Tar® Sauce
- Directions
- Grill shrimp using your marinade of choice
- Grill onions and peppers
- Spread HOT TAR sauce on warmed flour tortilla and add shrimp, peppers, onions, tomatoes, cheese
- Roll tortilla around filling
- Try with sour cream
- This recipe can be adapted to make quesadillas
- Remoulade - HOT TAR Sauce is great to use when preparing a remoulade
- Ingredients - vary recipe according to amount required
- 6 oz. HOT TAR Sauce
- 1 oz. Prepared mustard
- 1 oz. Creole mustard
- 3 oz. Ketchup
- Celery salt
- Bay seasoning
- Salt and Black pepper
- Directions
- Sparingly add dry seasonings: celery salt, bay seasoning, black pepper, and salt to taste
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl
- Ladle lightly over lareg boiled prawns arranged neatly on a bed of leafy greens

- Ingredients
- Fresh grouper - medium sized slab or half of fish
- Salt
- Black pepper
- HOT TAR Sauce
- Directions
- Light salt an pepper fish
- Cover fish with HOT TAR Sauce, spreading evenly
- Lay fish on cool side of coals and cook slowly
- Move to hot coals and cook until done while keeping fish from sticking with spatula
- HOT TAR Deviled Eggs
- Ingredients
- 6 Hard boiled eggs, peeled
- 2 Tbsp HOT TAR Sauce
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp dill relish
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Paprika
- Directions
- Cut peeled eggs in half, put yolks in separate bowl
- Arrange white halves on plate
- Mash yolks with fork
- Add HOT TAR Sauce, mustard, relish, and salt. Mix well.
- Fill the egg halves with the yolk mixture
- Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika
- * For extra kick substitute cayenne pepper for paprika
- Hot Tuna Salad
- Ingredients
- 1 can tuna or pink salmon
- 1 Tbsp HOT TAR Sauce
- 1 Tbsp light sour cream
- 1 Tbsp sweet relish
- Directions
- Mix all ingredients together
- Serve as a salad on bed of greens with tomatoes

- Ingredients
- Chopped cooked meat (pork, chicken, beef)
- Equal parts HOT TAR Sauce and bar-b-que sauce

- Any of the following : Grouper, Oysters, Soft-shell Crab, Shrimp
- Directions
- Spread HOT TAR Sauce on bread and fill with your choice of seafood
- Shrimp Quesadilla
- Ingredients
- Shrimp
- Veggies of choice
- 2 Flour tortillas
- Mozzarella cheese
- HOT TAR Sauce
- Directions
- Spread HOT TAR Sauce on flour tortillas and place shrimp, veggies, and cheese on one tortilla and cover with second tortilla
- Lightly brown on both sides in skillet with small amount of butter until cheese is melted and shrimp and veggies are warm
- * I prefer using fresh garlic butter
- Tuna Melt
- Ingredients
- White tuna in can
- 2 Tbsp HOT TAR Sauce (or to desired heat and texture)
- White cheese of choice
- English muffins (split)
- Directions
- Mix tuna and HOT TAR Sauce in a bowl
- Put one large scoop to cover top of muffin half about 1/4 to 1/2 inch high
- Carefully place cheese on top of mixture and bake in preheated oven on 350 degrees until cheese and tuna mixture is heated through (about 8 minutes)
- Then broil until browned or to your preference
- Butterfly Shrimp and Oysters
- Ingredients
- Shrimp
- Oysters
- Pepper crusted bacon
- Corn meal
- Flour
- Directions
- Butterfly x-large shrimp and place oyster in shrimp
- Wrap with bacon and hold with toothpicks
- Lightly flour and meal and fry until bacon is crisp
- Dip in HOT TAR or HOT TAIL Sauce
